Every IdaPets complete diet is formulated by a pet nutritionist to provide balanced daily nutrition for adult dogs. Each ingredient has a purpose—from real animal protein and nutrient-rich organs to carefully selected vegetables, oils, probiotics, vitamins and minerals.

AAFCO Compliant for Adult Maintenance

IdaPets Beef and Chicken recipes are formulated to meet the nutritional needs established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for maintenance of adult dogs.

In plain language, that means each recipe is designed to provide the essential nutrients an adult dog needs when it is fed as a complete daily diet according to the feeding directions.

"Adult maintenance" applies to adult dogs. Our current recipes are not represented as complete diets for puppies, growth, pregnancy or nursing.

AAFCO establishes nutritional models used by pet-food regulators, but it does not individually approve or endorse pet-food products.

Made in Burley, Idaho

Our Beef and Chicken recipes are manufactured in Burley, Idaho, at an FDA-registered facility that follows applicable FDA animal-food requirements.

FDA registration means the facility is registered within the federal animal-food regulatory system. It does not mean that FDA individually approves or endorses IdaPets products.

Every Batch Tested

Every IdaPets batch is tested for pathogens as part of our food-safety process. We believe confidence should begin before the food ever reaches your dog's bowl.

Lot-Level Traceability

Every batch receives a trackable lot number. That number connects the product to its production information and helps us respond quickly if a safety or quality concern ever arises.

Keep the original package or record the lot number until your dog has finished the product.

Regionally Sourced Meat

We source our meat regionally whenever available, supporting a more connected supply chain and keeping production rooted close to our Idaho home.

Recall Readiness

If a recall ever affects an IdaPets product, we will notify customers and provide clear instructions for identifying affected lot numbers and determining the next steps.

Customers should keep their contact information current and retain each product's lot number until it has been used.
